Masterbatch
DualGlo masterbatch is a proven formulation that represents a new generation of coloured luminous technology.
DualGlo masterbatch allows plastics to have strong daylight colours with high glow output and longevity. DualGlo colours glow up to 7 times brighter than old style materials and can keep glowing for over 15 hours on each recharge of light.
DualGlo masterbatch complies with BSEN71–3: 1995: BS5665 Part 3: 1995 safety legislative parameters.
DualGlo universal masterbatch format is compatible with both polyolefin's and engineering grade polymers.
Simple to use:
- Just add preferred concentration by weight to the polymer.
- Retain output capacity as machine performance is unaffected.
- DualGlo does not require drying in most circumstances.
- UV stable and suitable for outdoor use
- No modifications required as DualGlo has been designed to be compatible with the majority of injection moulding and extrusion machines.
Minimum Quantities:
The minimum order size is for 20kg of any one colour.
Moulding processes: both injection and blow methods are suitable, but please note our standard mix for blow is qualified to a wall thickness not to be below 100 microns. We can produce a custom mix that will work below this level.
Resins: DualGlo white will work with most polymers including polyolefin [PE, HDPE]; but the coloured mixes perform better with engineering grades and most are compatible, including PP, PET, ABS, PA, PC ,PC-ABS and Acrylic.
Within the “touchy feely” plastic types [TPE's / TPO's] DualGlo can work with a few - although they tend to be the slightly stiffer variations thereof.
