Compound
DualGlo produces custom compounds for clients who do not use a masterbatch based moulding system or who have requirements that cannot be met through our standard formulations.
Client requirements vary, but common reasons for needing custom compounds include:
- High fire retarding properties required
- Particular physical properties e.g. Strength or hardness
- A particular polymer is required that is not compatible with our masterbatch
We are able to produce very high quality compounds and have our own colour sorting facilities that are capable of virtually eliminating discoloured pellets (a feature of compounding strontium) from the final mix.
Minimum Quantities
Typically it is uneconomic to produce custom compounds in units less than a tonne.
